Coed Middle School Cheer, Coed Varsity / JV Cheer · 2017 Camp for Hornet Cheer

The 2017-2018 HHS cheer squad completed the Innovative Speed Cheer camp in The Woodlands, June 16-18, 2017.  This camp is different than traditional camps where the focus is on stunting, routines, and tumbling.

Due to the advanced nature of the camp, the bar is raised for all teams while they are participating.  Spirit sticks and team awards are not given at this camp, but there were two cheerleaders who received honors.  Joscelin Zapoli was named as an All-American and Dyamond Moseley won the honors of Top Gun Jumper.

The JV and Varsity squads prepared and performed a routine as one group.  The team also received a bid to Nationals while at camp.  The future looks bright for HHS Cheer.
