Huntsville Hornets JV Green watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 10-1 loss to Nacogdoches on Saturday. Nacogdoches scored on a double by #1, a single by #8, a single by #2, a walk by #21, a wild pitch during #3’s at bat, a walk by #6, and a passed ball during #1’s at bat in the first inning.
The Huntsville Hornets JV Green struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Nacogdoches, giving up ten runs.
Nacogdoches got things started in the first inning when #1 doubled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.
#19 led the Nacogdoches to victory on the hill. The ace lasted four innings, allowing one hit and one run while striking out two and walking one. #4 threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
